CSA member Cary Buzzell started painting rocks about 4 years ago after becoming inspired by a Zentangle art class at the CSA from Sarah Larson. Feel free to bring your own smooth, relatively flat, light colored beach rocks. We will also have plenty to choose from. All materials supplied. You might want to bring a smock. Rock painting is easy and fun!

Local artist and Lavender farmer Jennifer Flynn will teach how to make a lavender therapy bag. Lavender is well known as a scent that is calming and soothing to the soul. In this class students will create their own lavender therapy bags using vintage embroidered linens and lavender grown at Warren Hill Lavender in Beulah. The farm offers locally grown lavender and homemade goods.

The Arts Committee was formed in 2015 at the fall Board of Trustees meeting. Its purpose is to encourage and oversee artistic endeavors and the creative spirit for all ages. Our community is rich with painters, writers, actors, musicians, photographers, composers, and others who have much to offer. The Arts Committee will meet throughout the summer to discuss programming and to entertain new ideas for community sharing in a variety of art forms. This new committee looks forward to hearing suggestions and providing new venues to fan the flame of creativity in our community. Questions? Contact comittee chair Barb Perry.
